At this bore size the exhaust valve no longer overhangs the cylinder block. Valves are sitting on the piston crown

This is a seven main bearing engine
(main caps in foreground)
The connecting rods are
balanced end for end
Crankshaft end float check. Two coats primer and one coat color on the outside. Glyptal on the inside.

This ex-Tony Giordano MGC is dyno'd at 190bhp and
205 ftlbs of torque at 5,000 rpm
Ready for a roadtest
